The art gallery is located in the lower floors of the Tour Jarlier. Historically, these were the cellars in which Provençal farmers stored their crops. The place, called "Jarlie" in Provençal, gave its name to the Tour Jarlier.
Today, these lower floors have been completely renovated and refurbished. With their rough stone walls, wood and metal staircases and walkways, and contemporary lighting, they are home to a unique art gallery in Saint-Tropez, perfect for showcasing works of art from all styles and time periods.
